Across all Universal Fibers® product families, we are committed to results-oriented sustainability. We make products and implement processes that use more recycled material, cleaner energy, and less water. We source responsibly, aim for zero waste, and continuously reduce our carbon footprint.
Universal Fibers® Thrive® product family leads the industry with the lowest ever CO2 emission rates and the highest level of recycled material (up to 75%). Thrive® uses pre- and post-consumer fiber, which is sourced through a proprietary process that uses recycled carpet diverted from landfills.
Available in multiple polymers and applications, Thrive® is high-bulk and lightweight, delivering extraordinary performance, durability, sustainability and color.

Thrive® 6,6
Thrive® 6,6 is among the most sustainable high-performance nylon 6,6 carpet fibers in the world. It is solution-dyed, delivering superior performance in resiliency, color fastness, and stain resistance. Thrive 6,6 is available in each of our global locations in limitless colors using Universal Color® and checks the box with multiple green rating systems.
Thrive® 6
Thrive® 6 uses one of the most versatile polymers to deliver durability, stain resistance, fade resistance, high luster and color clarity. Offered in one of the broadest denier ranges in the world, and with our industry leading solution-dyed process, Thrive® 6 is 100% recyclable, available in limitless colors using Universal Color® and checks the box with multiple green rating systems.
Thrive® Bio
Thrive® Bio offsets carbon emissions by 30%, substituting bio-based for petrochemical-based feedstocks. With up to 40% renewably sourced ingredients by weight, Thrive® Bio is made in part with renewably sourced nonfood plant materials.
Thrive® Auto
Thrive® Auto. Using recycled content and lower CO2 emissions to produce our automotive fiber is one more step to making the automotive industry more environmentally conscious. We designed and tailored Thrive® Auto to meet the unique and individual needs of OEM and auto manufacturers globally.
Prisma®
Prisma® is an innovative nylon-6,6 fiber providing high bulk, low weight, exacting color and easy care and maintenance. Prisma® also goes a step further in sustainability reassurance and transparency, having achieved independent GreenCircle® certification.
